Ararat seen from the road north of Dogubeyazit. I did not expect to see this mountain as most of the drive from Van was in a blizzard. Just before the descent into Dogubeyazit, the clouds cleared enough to see this glimpse before they took over again. Blurred sky to cover negative damage and increased saturation. No PS on cloud, so its still too grainy.

The composition is very pleasing. The colours are good. You could perhaps try to put it through Noise Ninja. But I like the built of the differen layers, trhe green of the meadow, the blue of the lake (or river), the brown-grey of the mountain slope adn the wite of the snow.

Wow, what an amazing view. May be colors have been to much increased, but nevertheless the global panorama is lovely and you made it well. I like the top of the mountain just before the clouds will hide him. Well done!

Wow, Tan, what a fantastic photo---and reality also I guess! The snow border seems so exact and the green is so strong....the cows down there make it even more perfect! Everything just amazing...the water..the cloud! Congratulations!

Un spectacle pas habituel, ce frot nuageux qui arrive. Nous sommes certainement à une altitude où on peut assister à tous genres de phénomènes semblables.

Tan, the saturation in this picture gives a desktop image like impression. the Picture is grand and colorful. I drove by Mt. Rainier in Washington State when I went to california but Unable to capture the whole mountain because of its huge size and mostly covered with clouds.

very impressive photo, Tan. Mount Ararat looks so grand and impressive from this angle. Beautiful foreground, with the cattle grazing in it. It must have been an unforgettable moment.

ilk bakista dagin buyuklugu konusunda net fikir edinememistim ama hemen on tarafta otlayan hayvanlar bu konuda iyi olcu oldu. Yesil ve mavi renklerin canliligi gercekten harika. Tabii ki bulutlar... inanilmaz hos olmus.

Hello Tan! Stunning photo! The three horizontal lines make this look like a national flag -green, brown, blue/white. There is great sense of tranquility below Ararat and drama on it. The tiny reflections of the cows are brilliant! Tesekkurle, best regards and Happy New Year Tan! All the best to you and your family! Chris.

Hi Tan, Good scene split into layers by altitude. The strips of colour are very effective. Good sharpness and POV is excellent for this mountain view. Murray.

An unusual image of Agri, with such green plains below the mountain. So in May, virtually the whole mountain is still blanketed with snow. In August 1984 I was participated in a dubious archaeological expedition (in search of the Noah's Ark) and climbed the storied mountain. The astronaut Jim Irwin (a veteran of Apollo 15) was on the expedition.
