Photographer’s Note
I'd like to open my Cappadocian series with this photo. Cappadocia is an area in the Central Turkey known for its out-of-this-word landscapes with the soft volcano-born rocks that have served as cave houses, monasteries and the whole underground cities for hundreds and hundreds years. Nowadays there is lots of buzz among the tourists coming here to put themselves in a cave hotel and dine in a cave restaurant. I was happy to sneak away from the crowds to the lovely little town of Mustafapasa and discover this tiny gem where my companion and me were the only guest in the late afternoon. I loved the humble afternoon sun peeping in and lighting up the soft-stone sand-color walls
