Photographer’s Note
These days Te has become a forum site, not many highlights to see in the gallery.
About one week ago when TE changed it`s outfit,I was dissapointed, too.
Most of the time I`m here at the old version, now the betaversion and slowly I get used to the new one.
Of course the old TE was more userfriendly and easy to manage, like my first car, about 27 years ago,a Citroen 2CV.I loved it and I was able to repair everything.I even changed the engine with my brother´s help and then:WOW I had 29 PS instead of 27.......
Now,I`m happy to drive a car built in the 21st century.
What I mean:We live in the 21st century,we have the digital revolution and other ones and we all have to live with innovations.
Some are good,some are useless.....
What can we do? We can drive an old 2CV,need the double time to go to work, switch off electricity, switch off THE INTERNET,throw away our digital cameras, try to by good Kodak,Fujy or Agfa films...........try it and tell me.
It was a question of time( we say so in Germany)that TE changes it`s outfit and to be honest I expected it earlier.
I accept it and we all will get used to it after a few weeks or month(depends on the activity)
I posted more than 600 images( I started analogue)I learned a lot about the world and improving my skills. I met a few members at organized meetings I met some others during vacations, and I hope I`ll meet some more.
And what did I pay?????????????????????
0,00000000000000000000000 $ /Euro
And don`t waste your time in the forum.
The last few years there have been many questions(mine, too),good advices and suggestions in the forum, never heard, never answered.....In what do you believe now????
Come back to the gallery and do what for you all did sign in:Show your views of the world and have fun............
THE ONLY THING I HATE, I REALY HATE:
IT`S STILL POSSIBLE TO UPLOAD PHOTOS WITHOUT WRITING A NOTE:
TE`S MOTTO IS STILL:"LEARNING ABOUT THE WORLD THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY"
I wrote to the forum: It`s like deaf people visit the opera ,only for the eyes pleasure.......
Enough Bla Bla Bla.....
About my photo:
I posted a lot from wonderful Cappadokia:white valley,red valley,rose valley....
when you have time there and walk a lot you can find nice colorful gardens like this one.
This place is somewhere between Göreme and Cavusin.
I`m sure I`ll visit wonderful cappadokia again

Hi Leo
I agree with all your sentiments and I even think the new website looks good, but I'm having real trouble with the speed of it and uploading. Members will not participate if it continues to be so slow.... I hope the owners of the site are listening! The light here is beautiful and the composition well considered. I like the fruit lying on the ground in the sunshine. A lovely photo capturing the nature and essence of the place.

Hello Andreas,
I like your composition with the sand-dunes, the sere tree and the calabashes waiting someone to pick them. I will miss the colorful Cappadokia, knowing it from your photos.
TFS!

Hello Leo!
I really like this one!
The composition with the leafless tree and the typical capadocian rocks is great! The level of sharpness, the soft light and colors are also interesting features in this image and help to create something very eye-catching! There are some kind of "fruit" on the ground, what are they???
TFS - congratulations!
Let's all get adapted to this new version... we never know... maybe it was something good (only time will tell)! I think it's strange and less userfriendly, but I'm here... still commenting and posting!
My warmest regards,
Neyvan

Hello Andreas,
Very interesting photo of an interesting landscape. I like those rounded hills. Great POV with wonderful light, colours and details. I like that tree in the photo very much, it makes it complete! Great work!

Hi, Leo. A very good composition with the tree on the left to frame the rocks and the pumpkins in the field that along with the tree bring depth in the image. The sun has burnt the grass and this is another source of contrast. The whole scene stands out nicely against the sky.
Have a nice evening,
Philippe

Hi leo, You are right in what you write. Some changes are needed. But I wait till they improve bugs and when it is possible I still use beta. It is not problem of learning new site, I am just old and traditionalist. What I do not like - the font is in brown colour, maybe it passes to the new layout but it has less contrast and for many maybe difficult to read. For me it is also less comfortable. And I miss the place for discussion. In an old version it is just on the right of the note. In the new I must look if somebody wrote something, then click only this one, then the next ... . For me it was important part - just place for communication.
Photo is wonderful - splendid colours and incredible Cappadokian landscape.
Warm regards
Malgorzata

Cette région t'a permis de réaliser une bien belle série de photographies!J'aime la composition de celle-ci avec, en particulier, le détail des potirons (ou des melons?) au premier plan.
Pour le reste....assez de blabla, des photos!
Amicalement

Hello Andreas,
lucky to have such light, you managed the compo very well with the balancing tree, nice work!
P.S. and I fully agree with your note on TE!

Haha, I must say I had some problems too with the new TE.
But yeah, Change is a hard matter to deal with.
This photo has old-fashioned quality. The dead tree and the pumpkins form a great foreground for this well known but allways spectacular landscape.

Hello Leo,
A well composed view of this region with its bizarre rock formations. Good natural colours and the pumpkins in the field in the foreground add a special note.
