Photographer’s Note
It was not the first time that I had met Yâsin, generally a lifely boy but he had fallen on his head just before my arrival and had not much energy, could not sleep either. Did not want to smile of course and was very quiet.
Then Aydin came bursting in the same neon-dim lit room and there was music, dance and laugh ; slowly-slowly, Yâsin got a bit more lifely and was totally OK when I left at the end of the afternoon.

this is so touching cath, pure poetry... especially when my 16-month-old has been suffering from high fever for the last few days and terribly coughing... the light on the poor kid's face is just beautiful... and the compo with the car on the corner is simply perfect...

That is really heart breaking photo, Catherine !
Are you sure Yasin is ok by now ? Hope you know better :)
Very touching. That toy abandoned on the floor...

Hi Cath... Welcome back to TE, missing your photos. I love the framing here, with the toy abandoned down the bed, no energy for nothing, yes, we can see it in his eyes... Good choice of B&W for the situation... Thanks.

Hi Cath, i like the inclusion of the car, really makes the composition work. Perhaps it is slightly too close to the bottom, but it still works. Cheers, Steve

A bientot

Yves.

Just A little toy car left over !
Add a non-smiling , obviously not feeling very well little kid and all is said!
Du talent!
Vraiment Bravo

The biggest and the brightest eyes that I've ever seen. Beautiful capture, beautiful frame...him being horizontal, his toy on the right bottom corner. Perfect Cath.
Best Regards,
D:)

Merhaba Cathrine,
a splendid composition with the deep-looking-eyed boy.
Your b&w chice adds some more 'blue' into the shot

That look in those eyes catherine is absolutely splendid. It speaks, it sings, it tells me a story. This is by far one of the most dramatic compositions I have seen from you.

Hello Catherine,
An inventively cropped picture which I like very much. The horizontal lines within the vertical format have a surprising effect. I like the look of the very quiet, serious looking little boy and the toy car on the floor beneath him.
An original contribution to TE. Thanks.

Salut Catherine,
Marc
