Fairy Chimneys of Cappadocia
Once called Mt. Argeus, the awesome presence of Erciyes Dagi inspired legends as the "Abode of the Gods" and the Persians built a Zoroastrian fire temple nearby. These two ancient volcanoes mark the western and eastern boundaries of a region known for its curious volcanic landscape that has been relentlessly carved by nature and by the people who have lived here. 'Fairy chimneys,' cones and strange rock formations have been sculpted by wind and rain while subterranean towns were excavated by a populace seeking shelter from the conquerors and would-be conquerors who crisscrossed the wide open steppes of the Central Anatolian Plateau. Ancient Anatolian tribes, Assyrians, Hittites, Phrygians, Turkic tribes from Central Asia, Mongols, Persians,Syrians,
Armenians, Slavs, Greeks, Romans and Western Europeans have all passed through leaving behind some of their traditions as well as their genes and rendering Cappadocians as exotic as their surreal surroundings.

Good shot from Capadokia and it`s bizarre rockformations.I`m planing my second visit of this fantastic area for the summer.
Good composition with the bright geen vegatation in the foreground, the interesting rockformations in the center and the contrast with this wonderful blue sky.The nearly half moon is a nice datail.

Tablo gibi bir kapadokya fotoğrafı.Renkler, ışık-gölge kombinezonu, ve mavi gökyüzü harika görünüyor.Elinize sağlık.

Great colours and scene. Though right frame is bit too tight for me and also I would meaby point the camera bit lower, cause there nothing going on on the sky and with the stronger foreground this picture would be much better for me. ;-)

very well captured shot of a great perspective. You managed the light well, the colours are well saturated and the pov is very effective.
Tfs, my friend and have a nice weekend!
