Photographer's Note
This incredible fairy chimneys are nearby the open air museam of Goreme. We were just begining a walk along the valley and 5 hours later we got us in the road 2km from Ortahisar.
Capadocia is an amazing rocky region with rock formations that seems to came out of a sci film. I spent one week walking along the valleys around Goreme and many times I felt like I was in another world or inside a fairy tail.
In the background we can see the rock formations as far as the eye can see.

Ibcredible indeed Rcardo, nice shot of this fantastic place; as you say, foreground and background - as far as the eye can see. How fortunate to spend a week in such a place!

Hi Ricardo
these rocks really are incredible! What curious shapes. A scene well captured to show off the scale of the rocks.

Great photo Ricardo - if I hadn't seen other photos of this area on TE I wouldn't have believed that yours was real!!
Turkey is a beautiful country, and this is an area I would love to visit.

Ola Ricardo,
I'm always amazed when I see photos from this place, I have to go there some day !
The photo is well taken, I like the PoV that allows to see the chimneys and the landscape behing, also the good depth helps, possibly you could play with the leves a bit to enhance the contrasts.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Hi Ricardo. There are many photographs from Cappadocia on TE, but I think this is one of the better ones because it captures not only the detail of the rock formations in the foreground, but also shows how far they stretch into the distance. My only criticism is that the horizon is tilted, but otherwise it is a very good compostion. Cheers . . . David

Hi Ricardo,
This is one of your best pictures from this place and also one of your best posts at TE. As I said in in another post that you did this is a incredible "Falus" ecological preserved nature work. Possible a PP improvement here as a final result could pass by a few of Contrast, Hue and Sharpness in a little measure. The enquadrement is splendid and the picture you post is excelent. So my touch of improvement is only a touch and my critique is also my real critique.
Friendly yours from Espinho,
Fernando

Again here such a wonderful shot of these special rock formations. It's good you placed some of them in front with in the background many others. The lighting is also very nice. Good work and thanks for sharing!

curiosas formações, um tanto fálicas, diga-se de passagem, asparganicas também, haha.
bom enquadramento e ponto de vista. deve ser uma maravilha caminhar por uma região assim, cheia de temas para fotografia.
