I was a bit disappointed that during my tour in Cappadocia they didn't show us the famous Love Valley with phallic rock formations. It was not far and I even saw it on my photos but from far distance. But Rose Valley was also nice and the curious pink rocks also reminded me something :). I could explore the area by myself, it was just near my hotel in Cavusin and I went there alone after the tour.
Rose Valley is a large valley located between Goreme and Cavusin villages, and it is divided into many smaller valleys: Gulludere, Kizilcukur, Meskendir and Zindanonu valleys. This beautiful valley gets its name from the rose-colored rock that varies in hue and intensity depending on time of day, season and weather conditions. Rose Valley has paths for easy, medium and difficult levels. The most common path in the valley takes around 2 hours (3.5 km).
It would be great to stay there for a few days and explore the area on bike. But I can't ride a bike (and I am not the only one in TE, I wouldn't reveal the secret who else though). There are many wonderful places without crowds. On the other hand, our group was small, the people were very nice so it was wonderful excursion.

The panoramic framing is perfect to capture this fantastic and might one say voluptuous landscape:-) The image is very pleasantly lit and has superb colours and sharpness. I also cannot ride a bike.

pamietam to miejsce i jak bardzo mnie zachwycilo, milo je zobaczyc takze w obiektywie kogos innego. Inna pespektywa i inne spojrzenie - tyle zmienia!

Hmmm, sounds like we need to get you on a bike trip! ;) As you well know, there are many interesting landscape formations here in Arizona, which is why this draws my attention. It looks like it could be from here, but not quite...there's something very intriguing and foreign about this without even knowing the location. I like the panoramic cut for this shot, stretching the subject from side to side, while their natural form is angled creates a more dramatic presentation. Nice soft light and colors, this would be fun to explore.
Enjoy the new day ahead.

I am a big fan of Nature's geological creations and your view of Rose Valley caught my attention. These unique forms are unlike any I have seen in our West.
And created in fine resolution and contrast lighting.

Mnie o wiele bardziej interesowaly przedziwne formacje skalne niz np garncarstwo badz nawet te domku wykute w skale. Choc ciekawe byloby spedzic noc w hotelu wydrazonym w skale podobno niektore grzybki sa zamienione na hotele.
Mialas tu bardzo ladne swiatlo, troche prawdziwego slonca. Nam oprocz nieciekawej organizacji niedopisala rowniez pogoda co jeszcze bardziej zepsulo nam humor i juz wiedzielismy ze nigdy wiecej wycieczek zorganizowanych!
Piekny rozowy odcien skal jeszcze udekorowany zoltym krzakiem.
Wyjatkowe miejsce, piekna prezentacja,

I remember when we walked through this magical landscape with its beautiful rock formations. Here you show us those formations well. It is a good thing that you went to explore by yourself and were able to capture the beauty.

Tosca and I are traveling to Turkey in May/June, and i'm sure she'd like to see places like this one here.
I wonder why the tour didn't take you to the most famous area???? Again...tosca really wants to see those rock formations, so we'll try to go for sure.
I've never heard of Rose Valley, so for me this is totally new and very interesting.
good photo in the difficult strong light, it came out very well indeed.
see you around
