Go ahead with scanned b&w "oldies" .
This one also from Kayseri (antique Ceasarea) in Central Anatolia and shows two women from nearby villages sitting in midst of a weekly market and knitting woolen socks, which they than sell on their humble stand !

Bu kare de Kayseri'nin haftalık pazarından. Civar köylerden gelen bu iki köylü kadın, pazarın içinde kendilerine bir yer bulmuşlar, bir yandan harıl harıl yün çoraplar örüyorlar, bir yandan da bunları önlerindeki mütevazı tezgahlarında satmaya çalışıyorlar.
Bu kare'de siyah beyaz bir baskıdan tarandı.

Merhaba Mesut Bey,

Kayseri, annem ve babamın memleketi. Fotoğrafın çekildiği tarih benim doğumumdan yaklaşık olarak bir ay sonraya geliyor. Köyümüz şehre yaklaşık 9 km uzaklıkta ünlü yönetmen Elia Kazan'ın da doğduğu Germir'in komşu köyü Tavlusun. Buralarda tehcire ait izler hala çok canlı, burada bir zamanlar Türk, Rum, Ermeni ve Museviler yüzyıllarca iç içe kardeşçe yaşamışlar. Müthiş bir uyum ve kültür alışverişi olmuş. Hala da büyüklerimizden o döneme ait anıları dinleriz. Bu kareyi ve daha önceki karelerinizi görünce hakikaten çok duygulandım. Elinize sağlık. Selamlar,

I find yours old pictures so interesting! This one taken in 1964 presenting the daily life scene is so unique and attractive. Well done. Thanks for sharing.

Seri mükemmel de bu kareniz beni nedense bir başka etkiledi.Nostaljik renk ve kompozisyonu ile muhteşem.

Fotoğraf kaliteleri hakkında söyleyecek tek bir sözüm yok, daha çok hissettiklerim ön plana çıktı fotoğraflara bakınca.
Çamaşır yıkayan kadın fotoğrafınız, dokuma tezgahı fotoğraflarınız gerçekten çok etkileyici, hele orda kadınlardan birinin utanarak yüzünü kapatması çok sıcak bir fotoğraf olmasına neden olmuş.

Hello Mesut,
These old photos of yours have a great documentary value in a fast changing society. Maybe women like these could still be found in Anatolia but I have a strong feeling that the dress code of boys and young men has changed a lot since 1964. In any caseit is a highly interesting photo.
I was in Kayseri not so terribly long time after this, in 1970 during my first journey to Turkey. I used the city as a stepping-stone to a Kappadocia with no tourists at all!

Une photo de 1964 (j'avis 18 ans), et celle-ci n'a rien perdu de son caractère quant à la vie quotidienne de certaines personnes. Son souffle reste le même, et j'apprécie comme il se doit, cette excellente prise de vue.
Le photographe était déjà expérimenté.

Une très intéressante photo sortie de ton grenier et bon résultat de "scan". Tricoter avec le sourire ce doit être plus plaisant. Un bon moyen pour se faire un peu d'argent. J'aurais peut-être re-cadré l'image pour enlever les têtes coupées en haut, comme dans le WS que j'ai préparé, mais ça n'enlève rien à la beauté de la photo.

Dieses "alte Schätzchen" ist ein wirkliches Zeitdokument - wie auch die anderen Bilder Deiner kleinen Serie. Schön, wie Du den Fokus auf die alte Dame im Vordergrund gelegt hast. Die FRauen arbeiten un die Herren der Schöpfung stehen herum ... ;-)
