Photographer’s Note

A very typical view from Central Anatolia.
The chimney and the dome belongs to an old Ottoman Bath. The small half glass domes on the dome is for the natural illuminating of the bath.
On WS you can see the inside of such an Ottoman bath, and the light beams coming through those small glass domes on the main dome.

İt must be really a hard job for this "Daddy long leg" to build his nest at the edge of this pyramid !

Orta Anadolu'dan tipik bir görüntü.
Baca ve ön plandaki kubbe, Osmanlı döneminden kalma bir hamam'a ait.
Kubbe üzerindeki yarım cam kubbecikler, hamamın içinin doğal aydınlanmasına yarıyorlar.
WS de bu cam kubbeciklerden hamamın içine süzülen ışığın yarattığı ışık oyunlarını görebilirsiniz.

Bu Hacı Leylek, yuvasını bacanın o sipsivri köşesine oturtmak için çok uğraşmıştır !

Guten Morgen, Mesut!
Wunderschön - insbesondere auch der Bildaufbau! Auch der Kontrast zwischen den verschiedenen Baumaterialien ist hier interessant. Das ist wirklich eine unglaubliche Leistung diese Störche, hier ihr Nest zu bauen.

Çok uzun zamandan beri leylek görmemiştim. Hatta babamlarım köyünde artık elektrik direği kalmadığı için yuva yapamadıkları için gelmiyorlarmış.

Hi Mesut,
This is both a good and an interesting picture. A fine composition with good colours. I hope the stork is assisted by some wheel or something to make this nest balance so well here. Your WS is also very good, could have been an upload of its own merits!

Hallo Mesut. Ich mag diese besonderen Vögel, die angeblich früher die Kinder brachten (zumindest in Deutschland). Zuletzt habe ich Störche in Massen in Bulgarien gesehen. Hier in Deutschland sieht man diese Zugvögel nur noch vereinzelt, weil die Landschaften sich verändert haben und Feuchtgebiete bzw. Auen fehlen. Du hast den Storch im idealen Moment mit Deiner Kamera eingefangen. Auch die Gesamtkomposition gefällt mir sehr gut. Viele Grüße, Wolfgang.
