Source, a photo from Eskisehir, Central Anatolia

Photographer's Note

This is the source ot the river Sakarya in Turkey.
A river which has it's source very close to the Central Anatolian City Eskişehir.
Here it starts and ends at Black Sea shore after about 824 km's. Watering an area of approximately 53.800 km2's.

Bu kare Ekişehir'in Güneyinde, Afyon'un kuzeyinde Sakarya nehrinin başladığı yeri gösteriyor. Bu noktadan başlayan Sakarya nehri 824 km lik bir yolculuktan sonra ve neredeyse 53.800m km2 lik bir alanı suladıktan sonra Karadeniz'e kavuşuyor.

Eine schöne Kombination aus Bild und Text. Auch wenn die Bildqualität nicht die beste ist (der Himmel) ist es doch zeigenswert - weil interessant. Ich habe noch etwas über den Sangarius der Antike nachgelesen. Danke für den Anstoß!
