That was one fantastic picture Ugur. What a great capture. You should have taken numerous pictures to get this one right? Colors in the sky with the white line is good. and the building silhouttes makes me imagine a scene from batman.

Hello, Ugur. This is a very impressive lightning picture. I have read your message to nst and I realize you must be very patient to get such a result, but it pays. What I appreciate here is that the skyline of the city appears to follow the shape of the lightning, which I suppose is due to the light produced by this natural wonder. Thanks for sharing.

The flash is vetical - usually. That's why your photo is very interesting...! I like the light blue bright aroung the flash. The black building at bottom are good frame.

i´ve been trying to get a decent lightning,
too, but there are not many thunderstorms here.

Perfect timing Ugur. I do not know if your camera has a bulb exposure setting but if you took this picture in regular automatic mode your are the maestro of syncronization. TFS Nikos

Hi ugur,

Really good shot from a lightning! the Ligthning seems to go around at the end. I wasted so many films to get a lighting picture like this one and didn't came close.
