Photographer's Note

Located in the Kizilay, Guvenpark Monument is made of Ankara stone in 1935. The monument is also called Emniyet Monument since it is devoted to Police force and Gendarme. Strong young men, in the direction of the monument facing Kizilay, holding sticks in their hands represents trust. The monument made in 1935 is still under the new monument. 1935 was written in roman numerals on the monument, as well as Ataturk’s saying; “Turk, Pride, Work, Trust” which was written in letters of bronze. On both sides of the monument, the Turkish police and gendarmerie of the ring symbolizing relief assistance are included. Ataturk’s friends in the War of Independence and revolutions are located in the Ministry direction of the monument. Monuments right side has human intelligence, the farmer's farming operation on the left side are icons in relief.
