Photographer's Note

This is another shot from Ayas, this time, a partial panoramic view. It's interesting to note that the age of the houses gradually diminishing from bottom to up and ended up with modern apartments. Personally I prefer to behold the beautiful old houses.

I think I spent 15 minutes looking at this photo and found so many interesting things in it. Very nicely presented photo, with superb clarity, allowing me to venture into it with confidence in what I was looking at. Beautiful colors and fantastic light management with great DOF gives this photo a warm and loving look at this neighborhood. Wonderful POV Suleyman!!

Good high POV for this beautiful view over the roofs of the village. Very nice with that curving road that disappears behind the houses to become visible again on a higher level.

Hello Suleyman,
a wonderful uphill view of the lovely and interesting town filling the frame and saying so much about its character and evolution. The composition is created and framed very carefully from a great point of view. The way the curvy road is placed in the frame, surrounded by picturesque or modern houses is lovely and inviting, I've followed it up and down several times. Clarity is superb and also entices us to observe the details and explore the town. I love the elegant roofs and deep colours of the old houses and hope they will be saved. This old village is beautiful, very interesting architecture with all the second floor larger than the first, I also like the strange way of building the roofs and the tone of the walls, great POV, very good panoramic, I agree with you, I like much more the old home of the new one, good depth and sharp...

A great take on this beautiful mountan village. I really dig the geomtrics and the complex rhythm here. Very fine use of spatial compression too.
The definition and the rendition of the architectural textures are spot on.

A chosen POV over the red rooftops show the curved road on town, and as you noted small houses like this giving way to those modern on pic.'s upper part.
Just the light was a bit low, my guess is that F8 is a bit too enhanced.
If you'll allow me - I'll post a WS with a diff. version to this nice image.

You're capturing well these attractive houses by a good angle and rich tone, so it's interesting and impressive to see old houses with red roof and two stories, and curved slope. And, it's impressive in some trees at upper side, too.

Hello Suleyman,

I agree with you: the older houses in the foreground are more attractive than the distant modern ones.

The composition here is excellent, the long curving road leading the eye perfectly through the picture from bottom to top, inviting us to stop off here and there to examine more and more of the exquisite details of each building as we pass. The exposure is perfect and the colours well saturated but not excessively so. The sharpness is wonderful too and we can see some beautiful textures in the decaying walls and roofs of the old buildings.
