this is a scene taken on the balcony of a friend that sees the military training camp. I think that this picture shows an important moment in our lives as Turkish citizens. Forced military service. Obedience to weapons. Unnecessary punishment, vaste of time...

Very interesting composition! The row of standing solders really accentuates the solder who is doing the push-ups. I can never imagine the pressure and stress of forced military service. But once thing for sure, the graduates from the military school will never be the same!

salinoglu memleketimi kurtariyosun sen? istemeyerek tip okuyan sonrada keske okumasaydim ulen oss diyen, insan dusmanimi oluyor simdi yani? adam enteresan bir kare yakalamis yollamis yaninada askelik hakkinda hissettigi yazmis. askerligi sevmek yada sevmemek baska bir konu gerektigi zaman savasmak baska bir konu. allah akil fikir versin sana diyorum.
salinoglu are u saving the country now? if someone studies medical and realizes it wasnt what he/she wanted is that oerson an enemy of humanity? he just doesnt like military service and is free to express his feelings about it. patriotizm is a whole different concept. u are free not to love military service but u should be able to differentiate when its your duty to serve your contry "like against a real threat" or being a "doink" like you. anyways great photo there..
