Blue Hour over the Black Sea at Trabzon. I liked the reflections of the lights and the faint afterglow of the sunset. Trabzon is along the south eastern section of the Black Sea, which contrary to its name is blue. Looking west.

This is indeed a very specially picture.
We see these enlightenment and reflection on a very pleasant way.
But excellent choice of your angle, this cares for depth and perspective.
Sharpness and clarity are very attractive.
Composition and presentation be superb. TFS.

I like how you framed this, with the ships up there, i'd say red and blue mainly

A well exposed blue hour composition. I like the point of view and framing. The white and blue reflections are well captured and make a great frame for the quayside. The two ships out at sea provide interest in the top half of the image.

marvelous composition on blue-hour. Lights in red, blue and white in fantastic reflection on smooth water surface. Well collected from a higher perspective, the ships out on sea, scale good distance on image.

The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The distance between the rest area an the horion is giving depth to the scene. The last part of the sunset is giving nice colours to the sky. Have a nice day.

J'aime beaucoup les reflets allongés multicolores dans cette composition. L'heure bleue est à son apogée. Il doit être plaisant d'être sur cette terrasse.

This is a beautiful photo. I liked the reflections of the colorful-light bulbs on the water. The reflections have all the colors that a French flag has. That's interesting. The water looks so smooth and adds a sense of serenity to the ending day.

This one is really nice with a charming combination of blue, red and white colors! The water reflections captured in the foreground created a very interesting effect and made the scene really attractive. Well done and TFS!

Hello Chris - A wonderfully different blue hour shot. I love the reflections which, to me, look like pastel crayon marks across black paper. A treat to see. Warm regards Rosemary

the longer I look at this one the more and more i enjoy it. the colorful reflections are without a doubt the focal point, as they should be :)
this would be a perfect color set for July 4th for America's birthday!
Canada Day is on July 1st...i hope to get some firework shots.
love the colors and how it pops on the main screen.

Beautiful blue hour capture! The long exposure created a lovely effect. The red and blue reflections in the water are really great; the lights seem to be dancing on the water's surface. The umbrellas also match the color scheme and the ships in the distance add more interesting detail to the scene.

Je suis sensible au bleu, blanc, rouge -)Très belle photo nocturne avec de beaux reflets colorés. J'aurais peut-être recadré pour couper le mur de maison à gauche?

Haha, Blue Black Sea. I like these alternating blue, white and red lights
and umbrellas. Beautiful atmosphere in blue hour. Spectacular shot.

this is a very beautiful and enchanting image, you have handled the lighting and all the special characteristics of this seaside place in a wonderful way. The graphical effect and fascination of the colourful lamps and their reflections is superb. The natural and the artificial colours are so beautifully matched at this hour of the evening. I also like very much the dark parts of the scenery and the two boats in the distance. The style of the cafe' itself is not particularly attractive but the atmosphere in the larger setting is magical. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great Sunday,

What a stunning Blue Hour, the sea and sky could hold this photo on their own, but they also have the wonderful effect of the red and blue lights in reflection. An amazing photo, congratulations.

What a beautiful capture! The colors of the umbrellas (why do they still have them open?), the reflections off the harbor are just exquisite.
To respond to your note, here is some lesson in ancient Turkish culture: The four directions were represented by colors among ancient Turkic tribes. Black represented the north, white the south, red the west and blue the east. So Kara Deniz (Black Sea) is the Northern Sea. Akdeniz (White Sea) is the Southern Sea (Mediterranean). The red in the Turkish flag is leftover from the Ottomans who used red in their flags because the empire was started by the Oğuz tribe, which was a western tribe.

Hi Chris.I missed this feast for the eyes. Beautifully captured as you retain much of the detail and textures and the integrity of the lights, The lights on the ships echo nicely the lights upon the shore. Well done. Best wishes. Klaudio.
