Photographer's Note
This is from the small town of Amasra on the Turkish Black Sea coast. Amasra should not be confused with Amasya, an Anatolian city shown in my last upload.
There is not much to see in Amasra, but it is a nice and pleasant resort attracting mainly Turkish tourists who come to relax on the small beach and enjoy the fresh fish served in the local restaurants.
The "times three" of the title refers to the two complementary photos shown as workshops.

Hi Gert,
It is a well-chosen framing, in a straight angle shot that works very well graphically, and gives a nice perspective to the elegant housing of this small town. The light and the shades have a beautiful effect on the elements, and the colors are magnificent. well done.

Hi Gert
I think the climate is relatively cool fresh even at the height of summer and the views of this small town is fabulous deep in rich colors. It is an unspoiled natural paradise with breathtaking natural scenery. The crystal clear blue water, the ancient stonebridge, the foliage, blue sky and clusters of typical Turkish style houses and the minaret which are stunningly enchanting and in perfect harmony. Such scenery is intoxicating, the calmness of the morning is so relaxed and serene. It is undoubtedly an ideal place for holiday. A fine sense of peacefulness from this image. Great shot, Congrats
Enjoy your additional photos, they equally of high quality full of contents, particularly I like the 'Going Fishing' image, the juxtaposition and stonebridge in the distant.
Kind regards

Hej Gert,
Det här ser ju rätt angenämt ut. Det är många färger i bilden och vattnet ser ut att vara väldigt klart. Hur varmt var det (både i luften och i vattnet) när du var här?

The waters in the foreground are pristene. The archaic bridge and the small town across it makes the photograph very well composed. The greenery on the left is bright and deep. The details of the bridge and the visible difference in the colour of the waters on either side is excellent. The sun soaked roof tops and the walls of the buildings have clarity. The tall minaret rising from among this cluster of buildings is excellent. The hills in the background and the skies does not take our focus away from the imagery in the foreground, but add to the overall effect.
Thanks for sharing.

There may not be much to see in Amasra, but it seems like Amasra itself is something to see - very picturesque little town, Gert! I love the old stone bridge, and the colors and shape of the spot itself are timeless. Wonderful blue water, which matches the color cast of the hills in BG.

Hello dear Gert,
On thumbnail I was also thinking if TE members will notice the difference between Amasya and Amasra, but you have given necessary info's.
This pov of Amasra is not much used. Normally people walk over the bridge and use the othed side.
Anyhow this is a nice capture from this beautiful corner at Blacksea.
By the way, before Antalya and surrounding had gotten popular, Amasya was a very much used summer vacation destination, mainly by Turks living in Ankara.
TFS and best regards

Hello Gert!
I think that Autumn is the season I like the least, although sometimes I like even less Winter, but I must admit that it offers great opportunities to explore the colours You did a wonderful job here, I love the clarity lightness that make the blue and architecture! and the way you framed the place FG and BG
Nice presentation

Hej Gert,

Hi Gert
I'm glad you presented the two WS photos aswell, I especially like the scene with the fishermen in the boats. In the 2 shots we can see the charm, one is a bit more rustic, the other more scenic.
it was a difficult time of day for photos, very harsh light, but still a nice shot. seems like very shallow waters, no boats on this side.
charming place, and a good photo despite the strong sun.

Hej Gert
a pleasing little town, I can just imagine how nice it must be sitting in one of the restaurants with a good meal and a glass of wine.
I like your framing, it is almost like one is about to wander down to the bridge and then in to the town.
a pity though that the picture tilts ever so slightly to the left.

Hello Gert,
a lovely and peaceful scenery, very attractive in the splendid sunshine. The composition looks simple but your point of view is superb and offers an excellent, very detailed description of this quiet town and its surroundings. Your two other pictures possess the same qualities and together give us a very comprehensive idea of a place very few of us had heard of before. I love the pleasant colours and sunshine that vivify the view and radiate good mood. Congratulations and thank you!

Hej Gert,

Hi Gert,
I found this picture in your gallery and I think the location is just amazing. I have spent almost one month in Turkey traveling around but this place escaped my attention - what a shame. Fantastic POV and very nice composition, with excellent proportions. Very nice colors despite what seems to be quite harsh sun. Is the line horizon slightly askew?
Otherwise, fabulous picture!
Thanks for sharing it!

Hello Gert,
You're capturing well this place by a good angle and excellent tone, so it's interesting and impressive to see the small town faced to Turkish Black Sea. There are many crowded houses with red roof and clean/blue sea in this town. It's impressive in the surrounding greenery and mountain range of backdrop, too. So, here looks like a good place for relax and eating fresh fishes as you note.
Kind regards,
