The bright green grass is on Rabbit Island in the bay at Gumusluk on the Bodrum Peninsula. There are a string of restaurants along the waterfront that serve moderately priced seafood, enjoyed with a cold beer, glass of wine or cup of Turkish black tea. Bodrum itself is a little too hectic for my taste so this was a nice compromise. And yes, there are rabbits on this island!

Doğa ile denizin bir arada olduğu güzel mekanlardan biridir...

This photo has many points of interest throughout. The island draws the eye across the shot nicely. The lighitng is great as is the photo's color.

On te fait confiance pour les lapins! Le premier plan n'est pas exceptionnel mais le paysage en second plan est vraiment superbe.

Hello Chris, The rabbits have not much space on this islands. Can they be also eaten? In Poland rabbits are nor popular but French like them. But probably not wild. It would be nice to sit in one of this restaurant, with great view of the bay, and have moderately priced seafood with cup of Turkish black or apple tea. Marvelous view.
Warm regrads MAlgo

A very nice shot, lovely sharp colours. Good POV with the island just to the left of the shot. Yes Bodrum is a bit to hectic.

Bodrum is one of the few places in Turkey that I have visited albeit on a day trip from Rhodes. Agree it is a tad too frenetic for me taste too, but this little bay looks so idyllic, restful and beautiful. An appealing postcard capture.

The distance between the two shores is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and the colors of Rabbit island. The good luminosity is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Un superbe point de vue sur cette charmante petite île qui ne demande pas un très grand effort pour s'y rendre.Beaucoup de choses à regarder dans cette composition.

Good evening Chris,
Fine view from a high POV over the rock-island, and the beautiful bay.
A great harmony of colors in this image, from blue to green nature's tones, to the yellow cabs and white houses - all culminate to a wonderful scene.

Yes, this looks quite cosy seaside settlement. High viewpoint shows the island and those peninsulas well separated. There's certain spring freshness on those green shades. Yellow cabs catch attention too.

I always visited these places in the summer or in early fall, so I never saw them green. It looks more pleasant in green.
