Iztuzu beach Photo

Photographer’s Note

Just a simple postcard shot to bring back some memories of warmer times.

Iztuzu beach is the home of the Carretta Carretta turtle and is a protected area. The large expanse of sand between the sunbeds and the line of bathers by the sea is kept clear as this is where the turtles lay their eggs in nests below the surface.

A note for Iza-M, that's my family on the sunbed in the foreground!

Nice beach image with depth from the umbrella lines, but it would be better taken less close to the middle of the day because the hard summer sun washed out the colors.

hi Roberto, nice to see you on Turkey gallery again.. you have a great POV and perspective here.. i love not too crowded beaches like this one.. clean beach and regularity of the umbrellas are good details..
