Photographer's Note
I took this shot from our hotel balcony which gave me a "bird's eye view" of the hotel recreational area. The sea was too rocky and rough for swimming so the pool had to suffice.

Hello Rosemary ,
A quite original picture , but an attractive one . The plunging view and the shapes and colors create a superb patchwork .
well done .

Rosemary this photo caught my attention in the gallery. I do love the arrangement of curved lines of the pool cutting into the frame. Nice contrasts between the ocean waves and calm of the sea as well. A different perspective is usually a good thing to explore. Nice work.

Hi Rosemary,
You have a great eye for a picture. I completely focus on the left hand side with those glorious sweeping swaths of colour in the pool which are slightly mystifying. Then there are those repeating sunshades adding to the pattern. Cropping off the right just to the right of these sunshades also gives a great, and slightly simplified image, albeit square.
Pictures within pictures!
Best wishes
Ann

dear Rosemary,
wow,
a beautiful shot of artistic view,
curved blue and green pattern of the pool is well composed with shining sea and relaxed beach,
light and colors are very attractive too,
whichever it is classic "bird's eye view" or modern "view from satellite", picturesque shot you took well,
thank you for your excellent picture,
Akihisa

Hi Rosemary,
A wonderful riot of summery colours here! The sense of relaxation and enjoyment is well established in your photo. The multi-toned blues and sand textures combine very nicely. The patterns provided by the curvey lines and more uniform woodwork are good contrasts to draw upon. It often pays off to look down as a photographer to the potential scene below you, rather that directly ahead; there are often some great compositions to be seen. A very creative piece of work.

Hi Rosemary, this is amazing. Just like a painting, the textures, warm tones and graphical elements are well-seen and superbly shot by you. At first when I saw it in miniature, I thought it was a photo of a sculpture and now I see it's all that and more. Wow what an eye you have, congratulations - and your Gallery is stunning - I can hardly wait to get my teeth into the rest of it. Warm regards, Lisa.
