[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A traditional house in the former Greek quarter of Bergama, Izmir province.
Bergama is best known for the impressive remains of the ancient city of Pergamon. The old Ottoman quarters are also very interesting however.
Hundreds of houses of the nineteenth century and before are preserved, however unfortunately in a neglected state.
Most of the houses are - untraditionally - painted in fancy colours.
