Alacati blues, a photo from Izmir, Aegean

Photographer's Note

Last year someone posted a picture of lower half of this building with a lady in a blue dress walking by. It omitted the upper floor. After getting this picture from a recent visit to Alacati, I'm showing the rest of the building with blue; this time by itself.

Une belle symétrie en bleu avec cette belle maison. J'aime beaucoup le fait que la photo soit bien centrée, bien ordonnée.

Hi John:

I love your picture. The blue is so very beautiful. Also the stones and brick blend in nicely with the blue doors and shutters, but the arches above the windows on the bottom really conjures up images of what it would be like to stroll through the building and imagine what it looks like inside.
