Locked forever ! (8), a photo from Izmir, Aegean

Photographer's Note

Alacatı is a wonderfull summer village (not far away from Cesme, a summerresidence of people living in İzmir)on the Aegean shores of Anatolia.
Here the entrance of an old house is fully shut with a huge ivy, grown in the garden.
One part also looks through the small window at the door, which was been formerly used, to see "who was knocking on the door" !

Bu terkedilmiş Alaçatı evi'nin bahçesinde kökleri olan sarmaşık, yavaş yavaş tüm kapıyı kapatacak.
O kadar ki, bir kolunu daha şimdiden, bir zamanlar, kapıyı çalanın kim olduğuna baktıkları kapıdaki delikten dışarı sarkıtmış bile. !

This is such a pretty view, just too bad that noone is living here. I am deeply impressed by the ivy growing through the little window. The strength of nature is incredible.

Un gros plan serré sur cette porte bien habillée par cette végétation.Bel accord de couleurs entre les teintes chaudes du mur et le bleu.

Bonsoir, cher Mesut,
La nature a pris place à l'intérieur de cette maison. La végétation s'invite même dans le "judas" inscrit dans l'un des vantaux.
A priori, rien ne laisse à penser que cette maison à l'aspect charmant puisse faire l'objet d'un abandon.
Quant à la prise de vue, elle est évidemment très réussie.

An old blue door yet very attractive. The green ivy plant on the top of the door makes ait very beautiful. A very simple subject with nice results.

Hello Mesut,

Locked but not for this small branch of vegetation growing through this small square. Nice contrast of colors between the greenery and the faded blue door. Good framing, colors and sharpness.
