When I arrived to Pamukkale, Turkey, the weather was not looking all that promising, and most of the travertines seemed to be dry. Time passed, however, and the cloudy sky was kind enough to allow me take pictures of this natural wonder in every possible day light condition- in fact, as it is the case in this shot, sometimes even in all of them at the same time, within the same frame!

i did, however, use photoshop to shift the attention of the picture from the clouds in the background to the travertines in the foreground, by only playing with the saturation and brightness levels locally.
