Aniseed:
Anise (Pimpinella anisum) is a flowering plant in the family Apiaceae native to the eastern Mediterranean region and southwest Asia known for its licorice-like flavor. Alternative depictions include anís (stressed on the second syllable) and Aniseed.
Anise is sweet and very aromatic, distinguished by its liquorice-like flavor. It is used in a wide variety of regional and ethnic confectioneries, including British Aniseed balls, Australian Humbugs, New Zealand Aniseed wheels, Italian pizzelle, German pfeffernusse, Bavarian springerle, Netherland Muisjes, Norwegian knotts, and Peruvian Picarones. It is a key ingredient in Mexican "atole de anís" or champurrado, which is similar to hot chocolate, and taken as a digestive after meals in India.
Anise is used to flavor the French spirits Absinthe, Anisette, and Pastis, the Greek Ouzo, the Italian Sambuca, the Arabic Arak, the German Jägermeister, the Turkish Raki and the Columbian national drink Aguardiente. It is also used in some root beer such as Virgil's in the United States.

Anason: (Pimpinella anisum), maydanozgiller familyasından 50-60 cm uzunluğunda bir yıllık otsu bitki türü. Anavatanı Doğu Akdeniz'dir. Anason, anason bitkisinin tohumlarından elde edilir. Rakı gibi alkollü içkilere çeşni katmak için kullanılır. Anasonun tatlımsı tadı ve özgün kokusu içinde bulunan "anethol" denilen yağdan gelir. Anethol alkolde çözünür, ama su oranı arttıkça çökelir. Bu nedenle anasonlu içkiler suyla karıştırıldığında beyaz olur. Anason, tatlılarda da kullanılan bir baharattır. Ayrıca kedi köpek mamalarına tat vermek için de kullanılır.

Hi Koksal,

The note is nice, we call them indeed Muisjes and we put them on large bicuits or bread.
But, what me really came here is that woman working on the ground. At her age she should enjoy her old age instead of doing this hard labour. See here hands, working very secure, probably not aware of your presence. Another thing i like is your composition, with the right amount oof, but still detail in the background were that tree creates a nice balance with the woman working on the land.
A lovely picture that i like a lot...very good work.

Hello Koksal. Interesting note and a nice photo. There's something kind of touching in there. Don't know what exactly. Perhaps because of her age, dignity of the work. Good use of depth of field. Claude.

Merhaba Köksal Bey, fotoğrafçılık dersi materyali gibi fotoğraflar yüklemişsiniz. O nasıl bir alan derinliğidir, yalnızca kendi ve çalıştığı hat net..Eller ve yüz güneş yanığı, hala toprakta çalışıyor ama gene de yüzünde bir işe yarıyor olmanın mutluluğu.. Nefis.. Kitap okur gibi. Selamlar.

A lovely rural daily life scene of this old lady going about her hard chores of planting these seeds. You have placed her well in the corner of the composition and blurred out the background nicely to bring focus onto her.
