Photographer’s Note

I made this picture in an old house in Denizli Pamukkale.
Outside it was chilling cold, and in the garden some lights of the nearby restaurant could be seen.
When I entered the room and turned the light on I noticed that the window glasses was been covered with a thin sheet of ice.

Scanned from a 35 mm slide.

Bu kare, Pamukkale civarında 2005 yılı Aralık ayında bir gece kaldığım küçük bir evin içinden. Yolun karşısındaki lokantadan, geceyi geçireceğim eve geldiğimde, pencere camları incecik bir buz tabakası ile kaplanmıştı

Bu kare de 35 mm'lik bir dia'dan tarandı.

C'est une belle composition avec la fenêtre qui fait un graphisme géométrique et les carreaux qui sont autant de tableaux sur l'hiver.

bonjour Mesut
une photo superbe de cette fenêtre intérieure de cette vieille maison et on voit qu'il fait tres froid à l'extérieur car il y a de la buée sur les carreaux voire même de la glace

I like very much this composition. We have the impression to be for the theater with the curtains which we guess on sides. The representation is going to begin, the window will open and we shall discover the set!
