Let's go ahead with the Aphrodisian Beauties. This capture shows the famous Odeon (or also called Boulleterion) of the antique city.
The orchestra is still filled wirh ground water and the only music you can hear there during night time is th concert of the frogs !

Merhaba Mesut. The ancient Greeks sure knew how to choose a spot for their temples and theatres. Amusing note- maybe once we wipe each other out the concert of frogs will be the only performances, although frogs are disappearing all around the world thanks to the chemicals in water.Lovely POV and details. Good morning Mesut,
Did not think of a frogs concert - you made me smile when red this, cheers.
A relatively small amphiteatre, but well preserved through times.
POV chosen to show much of the surrounding green area.
Fine clear details of the ancient place.
Have a nice Sunday,

That small pool at the bottom of the stairs (or the seats) is an unusual sight but a very nice element of the picture. The waterplants shine beautifully in the sunlight.
But there was nobobdy else to enjoy the frog concert.
And it was probably included in the entrance ticket :)
Best regards, Paul

Hello dear Mesut,
I've enjoyed this wonderful view of the ancient theatre before, in older pictures you've presented on TE. I like this theatre and the way you are presenting it very much. There's great dynamism in your composition, the contrasts are quite strong and the sky accentuates the drama and the fascination you've created. Excellent clarity and textures, wonderful strong and atmospheric colours. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

I like very much the last series from Aydin. In my trip to Turkey I skipped this place and now you are showing me what I missed. I guess there can always be another time :-)
This amphitheater has been so well preserved one can still imagine all the spectacles happening there. I like your POV which offers very good perspective. The little pond with floating leaves in the middle adds some extra charm to this place.
The whole image has been neatly framed by the landscape on the horizon.
Thanks for sharing

I wonder how the frogs sound? :)
I've tried it before...standing at the bottom and shouting out loud, its amazing how the accustics still work so well.
love this wide angle viewpoint with the stairs and sky so much of the scene.
enjoy your day

you have chosen your pov very well. I like this composition where the stone steps/seats form a semi circle then seem to fan out towards the bottom right of the frame. The light colour of the stone is set off by the line off dark hills beyond and the lovely blue sky. I like to think of frogs croaking in the orchestra pit as they one of nature's delightful creatures (we have a frog pond in our garden).
