This is another capturee of the same place as my yesterdays entry; the sculpturer school. Just before a heavy storm. At the far distant columns of the Aphrodite Temple.
Dünkü karede gösterdiğim Afrodisias heykelcilik okulunun başka bir görüntüsü.Fırtına kopmadan az evvel. Arka planda da şehrin ana tapınağı Afrodit mabedinin sütunları görülüyor.

Hello Mesut ,
THis one is a great one , especially for the contrast between old ruins in the light and the dark stormy sky .
Perfect framing and sharpness .

Well composed with the column in the Fg on the right side, charming light and contrast with this cloudy sky, interesting photo about ruines.

Dramatic changing weather gives this extra charm. Good high viewpoint and strong perspective thanks to those columns in foreground and back.

The well lit foreground and the stormy background has created such a beautiful mood in this scene, retaining all the fine detail of the columns while getting such a great atmosphere. The retrial lines of the columns breaking the horizon are superb.
All the best

I hope you were able to find a shelter before the storm broke out. These are very threatening thunderclouds. This is further emphasized by the fact that the archaeological site is still in the sunlight. And the white columns and the stone walls form a very strong contrast with that dark sky.
A magnificent picture!
Best regards, Paul

Hi Mesut, This time it is your archive photo. the sky looks very dramatic before the storm. have you found the place to hide? The columns of the Aphrodite Temple look very beautiful. I wonder if this place has changed since then?
it would be great to have you as a guide in Afrodisias. Maybe somewhen... I have no idea what to do in October.

Un ciel d'enfer qui donne une sacrée atmosphère à cette très bonne photo. Une très bonne composition pour mettre en vedette ces splendides ruines.

What a striking historical sight and the impact rendered. A shot with lots of interest and my eye is immediately dragged all over the place with the immediate column provides such a good lead in. A picture with good perspective finely composed in excellent rich tones and all the right elements are here to transform this into a grand image. An awesome shot so well taken and TFS, Congrats

Beautiful shot of the ruin, the dark clouds with treatening rain adds so much drama to the scene. Beautiful composition with great depth including the collumn in the foreground. Excellent quality with so much details and texture of the bricks walls.

Personally, i'm a big fan of these days where the clouds are so grey and heavy, just waiting to pour down rain. and its so surprising the amount of light that still gets through.
really attractive light, especially against the sandstone colors.
Oh to have been here in its Prime to see this!

Merhaba Mesut. Very atmospheric shot in which drama is created by the moody, dark clouds and the sun behind you which still has time to illuminate the ruins.Excellent sharpness and DOF. Best wishes. Klaudio.
