The citadel of Afyon, or better known as "Afyonkarahisar" - "The Black Castle of Afyon". Mind you, it was horribly restored by local council recently with whitish stones :) :) :)
The castle of Afyon shows traces dating back to Phrygians (7th century BC) and was occupied since... so it is an almost 3000 years old castle (beat that :)This phase you are seeing shows mainly Byzantine, Selcukid and Turkish walls.

Surely a very interesting place there hi up on the rocks! Guess it's not called the black castle because of the horrible restoration ;-). 3000 years and still standing, despite the local council :-).
Nice one, but a bit softy on the edge sharpness unfortunately.
