Photographer’s Note

As I once explained in this picture I usually call "cattled tourists" those people who are carried to monuments, ruins or somewhere else in busses, dropped for some minutes to run after a guide and in the end delivered to shops or restaurants....

since I am no cattled tourist I would suggest you some ways to enjoy Palmyra's ruins:

you can weak up for the dawn....or just lay down on a rock like this...

one other is to walk across them at night...with no annoying sellers....just you (a few other tourists)...the silence....the desert...and the golden lights.

another shot for my theme Night POVs
