Photographer’s Note
This one was taken in the streets of Damascus' old town. Form many the old town of Damascus is one of the most fascinating parts of whole Middle East. It is very authentic indeed.
Syria is a great place to travel. It is cheap, perfectly safe, with lots of friendly locals, surprisingly welcoming to travelers. Syria is also very authentic - "thanks" to all the bad press that it gets from the US administration, not much people go there, there are virtually no organised groups of tourists, only lone travelers. Therefore Syria still is authentically Arabian, not a mixture of oriental and western influences you see in other countries of the region, like eg in Jordan.
I highly recommend going there!

That is a great assessment of Damascus. I think it would be a fantastic place to go and I will hopefully go there one day. Looks fascinating. Well done.

Hello Michal,
Nice capture of the old style homes in damascus and of course, the good ol' running machines that never stop ...I recognize the street. It is closed to St. Thomas Gate and the Eastern Gate...
nicely taken;
