Another "locked forewer door" ; this time from the
Syrian city Hamah. The rest of green color on doors (throughout the islamic world) is a sign that the owner of the house has visited Mecca and Medina and is a pilgrim.

This is a variation from your previous photographs of the seriese.
The stone framework of the door is captured in clarity and detail. The contrast of the grey frame with the green door is not just of the colours ... While the frame looks solid, the good is in neglect and broken in places.
The peeling paint and the rough blue re-paint, clearly speaks of the lack of proper repairs ... hence the theme - Locked Forever...

Hi Mesut,
It looks like the last layer of paint was applied a very long time ago. On the other hand, there are many fince colours on display here. An interesting study of the lack of maintenance. A well observed motive!
