Photographer’s Note
Al-Haram Mosque. This photo was taken during the hajj period in 2006. This was a morning shot. It was full of pilgrimage most of the time.
Performing hajj is a personal journey that no one could ever describe. Each and everyone will experience a verey different life encounter even between husband and wife. I have experienced that and it is something that is untold until you undergo it. There were a lot of things that challenge you as to what level of piousness or worldview Islamic principles that you hang onto.
Lots of stories are untold and a lot of stories told are sometimes are optional to believe as it it beyond human understanding.

Assalammualaikum Foozi,
One day soon, I would be walking here, just like millions of Moslem before and after me. And that would be my longest and farthest trekking ever, to find myself within the eyes of God. I hoped I wouldn't be so far from Him. With so much people whom He loved, I'm but of nothing. Then again, He never seems to be that far from any of us. Being alone deep in the rainforest or in some dark corner on the mountain plateau, He never fails to make me feel safe and confident, to walk another day. Or to walk home. Or to shoot another day.
I learn one thing about God. God is where your heart is. In you. Knowing He is that close in all of us, one doesn't need to know how He looked like.
Wassalam

Hi Foozi:
A special point of view, which allows us to appreciate a majestic and beautiful architecture, characteristic of Arab countries.
I love as the towers, well-defined linearly, in contrast to the sky, within a modernist environment for others. Well done.

Hey Foozi,
A wonderful image from your pilgrimage. The architecture is impressive and imposing, with nice textures on the minarets - it`s shot from a fine perspective, it`also nicely sharpened, but most of all, the theme is very good.
Best regards.
