What a stunning architectural long shot of this 'modern wonder' David - I really think we should look more at modern buildings with the awed mind of an ancient - just to really appreciate out of the centuries and the dirt and dust what we are really capable of creating - fantastic image which really exploits the natural backing cast to the full - really nice shot.
best wishes KEv

Hello David,
Amazing architectural shot. I love the way curves formed buy the clouds contrast with that vertical building.
Well done!
Quentin.

Great architecture against an impressive sky David. Great shutter and aperture control, you've got a postcard image...well done.
Cheers

Hi David,
While normally I like pictures to be less centered than this, I admit that having this one smack in the middle makes a powerful statemne
the lights and colours are just amazing,
very well done

This is great, David, the light is fantastic! Perfect clouds to accentuate the "science fiction movie set" look. I like the tight framing with little ground visible--it really emphasizes the height of the building. (And I like the centering this time.) Outstanding! Regards, Ken.

Excellent! I really like this perfectly centred and symmetrical composition. The sky is magnificent, and the timing of the shot is good too, with the lights from the building being the right brightness to be able to see them, but not so bright that they are burning out. Great idea, and well executed!

What a futuristic piece of architecture. Can you add more composition and explain what the Kingdom Centre is?

This is the best picture of Kingdom tower I've seen so far ! You are playing with the different lights and the clouds are impressive.

really nice shot. the sky is fantastic, and the lights are all well captured. I usually don't like shots that are centered in the middle of the frame, but it seems to work for this shot, maybe b/c the sky is so asymetrical.
good shot

A dream shot, David. I have often thought of taking a picture of it while living here in Riyadh but never tried so far.
I have seen quite a few skyscrapers but this one, I feel, is unique in itself. The perspective from which you have shot it is perhaps the best one can think of.
Regards.

Hello David,
I just can say that it's amazing!!!
I would give you a hundred points instead of two. There're worse photos with more points given for it, and this fantastic on got "only" 26 yet (with my points).
Great composition, you had a luck with those clouds, and you did it well, that you took the photo at about sunset. Brilliant lights and colours!
TFS! This is my favourite!
Best wishes and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
