Photographer’s Note
Taken from the top of Jabal al Nour (the Hill of Light) in Mecca. It houses the cave Hira where Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is said to have received his first revelation from Allah (God) through the angel Gabriel.
This rock hill is one of the most favourites place to visit by the Muslim pilgrims.

Salam Tomi! :)
Are these guys doing hajj or umrah perhaps?
A very uniquely Saudi picture - one place I probably will never get to see.
Thanks for sharing

Hi Tomi,
I like your photo of this sacred place with the pilgrims at prayer, the framing is great.

Nice shot. I like the POV and the contrast of the clothes and the color of the rock..

I like this one because it shows a slice of life. There is a story here. The composition is well done, with the two men in the important upper right third of the picture. Good POV down into the valley shows the location. Lighting highlights the men perfectly. Misty texture adds atmosphere. Well done!
