Photographer's Note

I took this picture durring my visit to Madina,it is Masjid al-Nabawi..
The Mosque of the Prophet Muhammad(PBUH,in Medina, is the second holiest mosque in Islam. It is the final resting place of the Prophet Muhammad(PBUH.The original mosque was built by the Prophet Muhammad. Subsequent Islamic rulers greatly expanded and decorated the mosque. The edifice was originally Muhammad's house; he settled there after his Hijrah (emigration) to Medina, later building a mosque on the grounds. He himself shared in the heavy work of construction. The original mosque was an open-air building. The basic plan of the building has been adopted in the building of other mosques throughout the world.
The mosque also served as a community center, a court, and a religious school. There was a raised platform for the people who taught the Qur'an.

Really nice low light capture. I was surprised to see it was from a cel phone! The phone cameras must be getting better all the time.

I am a fan of shots where the sky exposure matches the artificial lighting, and you have done this well here.

Hello Mugush,

It's hard to believe this was captured on a cell phone camera in what looks like a low level of light. That makes me appreciate your accomplishment even more. I like how you captured a fair level of detail and that you were able to include the element of people at the entrance.

For a cell phone picture, this has great detail. Your note is very interesting. An interesting photo of the mosque but even more interesting because you can see all the people at the bottom. The lighting of the mosque was captured very well here, too. Nice work!!

If you wouldn't mentioned I wouldn't say u used your mobile to make the photo. I like the lights in same tones, the moment of the day is well-chosen and you caught well the minarets. I guess now that I have to wait for the new upload. Thank you for the beautiful journey in Pakistan!
