"Trust in Allah, but tie your camel” Arabian Proverb
This is how we are supposed to think-like, but unfortunately we don't at all!
This gentlemen in the picture is an old sheikh and an owner of a huge palm oasis, in a village named "Al-Far'aa", located between Jeddah & Al-Madina Al-Monawara.
I was going through my usual 200km discovery trips around Jeddah :p and stepped down to some village, and start shooting, suddenly... An old sheikh yelled at me while walking towards me, he asked why am taking picture in his property, so I realized I've put myself in some situation, I immediately apologized and told him that I will delete all these images if he wish so, I suppose he didn't believe that I can delete an image on spot, and how would he know if he didn't use a digital camera before, anyhow, he said that he will let me keep the photos, only if I paid him SR 70/- (~ $20), I said fine, only if I can add his picture to the deal :D I got away....

I have not often see the photos from this country but I like this picturesque portrait. And I also like your clever and very interesting note.
Best wishes from Russia!

Hello Ahmed, Good proverb :). Nice view of this old sheikh. He looks glad to pose for your photo. And maybe you can tell me, why they paint beard with this red color? I often saw this. Excellent portrait.
