The animal market in Jeddah is located in the southern part of city, far away from anything, even from the religious police (lol), those sheep merchantsí were singing and dancing in welcoming me into their home-like part of the souk.
Dancing with large wooden sticks is popular in many regions across Saudi Arabia, mainly, the western (where I come from) and the southern regions of Saudi Arabia. The central region (Riyadh City) for example; uses swords instead of wood in their dance.

Salam Ahmad. A joyful image and one which is expertly composed. The man on the right stretches out his hand and in a way takes us into the image towards the dancing man who takes the centre of the stage. A little behind the dancer is a man in a relaxed pose and his smile connects all three who are enjoying the moment. i am sure you too must have been smiling. Well done Ahmad. Regards. Klaudio.
