Difficile condition pour prendre cette photo mais aussi sur le terrain. C'est voyage autrement, la réalité s'impose. Ca me donne pas envie d'aller là-bas.

Hi Gilad
Magnifique image, bien que je me demande comment, toi aussi, tu te retrouves engagé dans ce conflit.

You just keep 'em coming Gilad, and I'll be here as often as possible...
------------
it creates the ipression that there was a fierce fighting in there...
In November 2007 ?
Did I miss some news...?
Or...It was just one of these 'waiting and stay put' moments in this never ending battlefield for human souls ?

Classic journalistic photography Gilad. Not necessarily about the color quality or the absolute sharpness, but more about the content (emotionally) of the photograph. The bright shaft of light makes the shot for me...almost looking into the face of God.
Really good.
Chris.

Hi there,
What a dramatic moment you captured here.
The light is really something.
Perfect.

Hi Gilad,
You commented on my India photo the other day and that reminded me to visit your gallery. This is an extraordinary, dramatic and gutsy photo...I can't believe it's gotten only 12 points in critiques. But that doesn't matter, really, does it? You inserted yourself in a unique and, I assume, dangerous situation, much like war journalists. The lighting, the subject, his facial expressions...what can I say. Peace.

I'm just curious,
If this is a soldier in battle, he should have a magazine in his gun. Its absence put the authenticity of this photo in doubt.
Nevertheless, the shot itself is wonderful - as always it is from Gilad.
