[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An incident in Palestine last summer ....three people so close to being engulfed in flames...their reaction times so different ...thankfully this was the critical moment and the other two got away without being seriously burnt......a close shave!

Not all decisive moments are so dramatic but looking through the images in this category it is a little disappointing to see so many images that don't appear to be so decisive ......I guess for many photographers all moments are such!

Watch out!! They had a great chance to have not beeing hurt!
Impressive moment, that's right...the flames are like a monster who is going to attack them!
very good.
Alex

I have no idea how you managed to capture this moment, but well done in doing so! The expressions, the slight blur, the intensity of the flames - superb.

Superbly captured - the expressions speak volumes and the flames seem so close you can almost feel the heat. Presumably an incendiary device?

I see what you men by gritty, mate! This potentially scary moment makes for an eciting frame I'll tell you - the way the bright flames dominate the left hand side but at the same time light the poele to the right...
Quite extraordinary.

Hi Kev,

But you were calm! You has really a photographer instinct. Is very good, truly decisive, the faces' expression is amazing, we can see perfectly their feelings, surprise, fear. It's an excellent shot, Kev. Best wishes,

Angel.

PS: It's a very good new your next visit to Madrid!

wow! This is quite a moment! It has the feel of a great candid shot. Impressive.

Hello Kev, it's a real decisive moment picture. Perfect timing. Very good. Congratulations.

Decisive indeed! Wow, looks quite close! What happened? Somebody threw a really dry piece of wood or some other highly flammable material? I like your framing, whether if it's the original one or the processed, it's fantastic getting the flow of motion from left to right - very effective!
Well done!

Everybody knows that you should not be playing with fire because it will make you wet the bed... What were those guys doing? Roasting marshmallows? C'mon Kev, you can't fool me, this was no real danger. Was it? Anyway, great shot. Really the decisive moment. Hope you were not the fire starter. You seem too ready for this one... :)
