Hi Reout,
Funny how the old and middle aged run the World, and make the young people fight their battles....You captured that well here, with the young soldier and little girl.
It's a sad story in Israel, but hasn't it been so for so long. Thanks for this hopeful image.
Shalom,
Farah
P.S...I did a workshop in black and white. It's not great, but another look.

Hello Reout,
very good photo. Excellent moment captured!
Maybe children should take care of governing the world? at least for one hour...
then coldiers would only have to wear uniforms, shake hands and smile.
best wishes!

Today - such soldiers have been reported as responsible for the recent deaths of up to 195 Palestinian children - how do they live with that when I guess so many have this other side to them too - and how many young lives ruined through injury or loss of loved ones?
War is barbaric whichever side engages in it - love and compassion are finer objectives whichever side you are on - a touching image - living for the day when peace will prevail.
