Photographer’s Note
I know very well, the title of this photo may disturb the sensitivity of some people ...
I know, but at these moments I think, if anyone has pictures from the occupied palestinian territories, specially from the Gaza Strip publish it ...
The global political and economical interest wants to tell the world ... Palestine - Gaza = Terrorism.
Remember:
Early of the XX. century in Turkey - Armenians
At the '30's and '40's in Europe - Jews
During Stalin's time in the former USSR - anyone who do not belives the "red" ideas.
During Saddam's time in Iraq - the kurds, the shias, the sunnis ... anyone who do not want to be a part of the dirty game of the dictatorship.
1994-1995 Rwanda - the tutsis - apx one million victims.
now: Afghanistan ... Sudan ... Iraq again ... Palestine ... South East Turkey ...
PLEASE! USE YOUR CAMERA, USE YOUR EYES...

Hello Bogart,
Yes, this is a very provocative and thought producing image.
The country "created" from the Holocaust becoming the "Holocausters"? I'm not convinced, but I'll consider this point of view.
What IS Palestine? Originally, it was the name given Judea when the Romans occupied it. Is it officially a country, does it have a language? According to Israel, no, to the people who call themselves Palestinians (Judeans?) yes. Would there be such battles to claim ownership of this country had Jews not turned desert into a thriving, modern country? Who knows.
I don't think it's fair to compare Israel to the atrocities African Nations and their totally corrupt Dictators inflict on their own people, however.
But we have different points of view. The photo itself is very strong. I commend your conviction to post it.

I thought TE was a place of exchange and respect.
You have your own political views - no problem, you want to post any picture - no problem, but why choosing such a scandalous title? Why hurting some people's feelings? Are you that angry? Believe me, I am much angrier than you about the whole situation.
I guess the title of the picture is making reference to the current self-defence war Israel is handling against the Hamas. So you are calling it a genocide... Did you know that only 10% of the killed in the Gaza strip are civilians? And are you aware of the so-unconventional efforts Israel is deploying in order to minimize the death of civilians people? Did you know for instance that before dropping a bomb on a house, the Israeli air force call first on their telephone the residents of the house, demanding them to leave, and after 10 minutes, they shoot a small bomb only, in a corner of the house, in order to give the civilians a second chance to flee before they really shoot? Apparently you are not aware of this kind of policies, otherwise you won't call us Hitler...
I am very curious to know how will you react if 40 rockets were launch over Hungary every day...

Political views I expect are short lived here on TE but as with any forum an opinion needs to be expressed or it is just more of the silent majority position. Your photo is provocative but your logic is fatally flawed. Of those you chose to remember in your note they have in common that they are victims of unprovoked attacks and persecutions. In Gaza the Palestinians are protecting Hamas (willingly or not) and they are the attackers, provocateurs if you will.

Shalom Y'Isreal
For thou art a holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
Who can stand against them? the palastinian? the hamas?
