Photographer’s Note
What can I say! This is the little Palestinian girl in the picture from yesterday - the focus is on her today. What or ....who...is she going to bite next!? An amazing child - always three steps ahead of anyone else.
I hope she makes you laugh as much as I did.
Have a great weekend!!

A lovely moment, Kev, well timed to show the enjoyment she has eating the noodles. A beautiful glow shown in her eyes, and a nice tight framing with a bit of the plate at the bottom, and otherwise focusing on her face. The tonal range in the b&w turned out nice as well.

Jajajajajaja (Translation: hahahahahahaha)... Yes, she makes me laugh, one of the things that I like of child is how they manage to create a fantasy from simple objects. You achieve to portrait so. Take care from freeze Madrid.

Hi Kev!
It really is a funny take:) "Spaghetti tarantula" ?
I like the light being mostly present at the most important part of the face. Good portrait work!

:-) Indeed utterly charming, dear Kev. I realize i have missed a few great shots in the past days, too busy with other things... what I love here is not only the obvious but also those two strands of spaghetti on her plate to complement those in her mouth... very well conceived, beautiful work with lots of sweetness that is still not saccharine. Marvellous...

Now that is a lovely ortrait, Kev - your subtle use of DOF really reaps rewards in spades here. She is bursting with intelligence and charm...and funny too.
Nice one!

:) No one can escape the tenderness of a child tick and so can't I. Like how you included the plate on the bottom and the incredible softness of that Canon bokeh. I hope Francis is not reading this, but no way Nikon can cope with this almost blurred Phototoshop real effect. Silk is indeed crafted from Canon lenses... Beautiful tones here, giving a lot of character to this kid portrait. Very good!
