Photographer’s Note
I put this in the decisive moment category because it really was a decisive moment for me to step out of the shade of the oasis I was in to take this picutre in 50C heat! I am glad I did! This is an Oasis/settlement in Oman near the border of the UAE. There is a settlement with a population of a few hundred people living here in the most simplest way imaginable! Good people...very friendly even after learning that I was an American!
