This is the fort next to the Al Alam Palace. I made a post about that earlier.
This is the front of the palace with a huge open space and well maintained gardens.
"The Qasr Al Alam Royal Palace was build in the 1970s and is the office of Sultan Qaboos, ruler of Oman. Not open to visitors but you can get to the main gate, at the front of the building."

Fraai stukje hovenierswerk zo, mooie foto ook. Sterke kleuren en goede compositie. Ziet er een stukje fraaier uit dan de tuin waar ik op uit kijk nu ;)
Lijkt het maar zo, of kun je van deze kant dicht bij dat paleis komen?

Nice POV with the yellows and ochres in the bottom part of the picture, framed by this elegant palm branch.
The fort standing behind the more modern buildings, looks very imposing, as if it's watching it all.
