Photographer’s Note
"Rub Al Khali" means empty quarter in Arabic ; the southern part of the arabian peninsula is the largest sand desert in the world and spans through Saudi Arabia, Oman and Yemen.
This is a sunset in the Omanese section where high sand dunes move through the vast plains.
(PS : I have to check for the state in Oman, I am not sure it is in Ash Sharkiyah)

What a beautiful image. I like the light quality of it. I like that you have the darker sand in the foreground do ground the picture and the rest is light. Also it's very nice how the darker sand leads you through the rest of the image in a sort of 'S'.
