Desert island ?, a photo from Musandam, North

Photographer's Note

An island in the middle of a fjord near the Ormuz detroit.
Not a desert island, you can see ruines on the top, here, Britains have built a house during the time to made a telegrah line ... and the name of this island is Telegraph island, of course !
Very lovely blue tones of this sea ...

Bonjour Jean,

Les collines aussi semblent bine désertiques. L'ile solitaire engendre ces belles teintes turquoises que tu as su bien capter. La belle luminosité a donné de bons contrastes de couleurs et la netteté est excellente.

nice the view of the arid island that in previous years was used as telegraph indermidiate line.But the more i like is the clear sea waters as the blue of the sky.

la petite île n'est pas spécialement attirante, par contre, je n'en dirais pas autant des montagnes et de la mer qui l'entourent.Elle est située dans un endroit vraiment spectaculaire , et d'une grande beauté,c'est fascinant.

Strange looking barren island except for the telcom house on top, to which resembles more like a reclaimed land but functional. A well worked composition, but the turquoise green water is so stunning and vibrant making this simple shot brilliant. Well done.

Bonjour Jean,

L'ile est sèche et rugueuse. Sa seule utilité etait télégraphique, mais ce qui attire c'est le jeu des couleurs de l'eau qui fait un cercle parfait autour de l'ile.

Une image haute en couleur (j'aime beaucoup les variations des teintes distillées à travers cette fort belle composition).
C'est très curieux, cette île avec ces ruines, nous avons l'impression, que cet îlot, par rapport aux montagnes environnantes a été crée de toutes pièces.

Hello Jean,
a wonderful picture with striking sharpness and clarity that make the textures stand out marvellously. There's great depth and sense of space around the tiny islet. The ruins of the stone construction provide a good contrast among the natural shapes and textures of the rocks. Lighting is excellent and colours are superbly captured in their natural brightness and intensity. I love the texture of the sea and the glowing yellow reflection. Thank you!
