Hello Nason,
Thank you for your photo, really very difficult for myself to comment.
When one sees a photo like this, I feel the world has let Lebanon down badly.
Lebanese are good people.
Only grief for this poor woman, what must she be thinking? and thousands like her.
Thank you for showing us this photo.
God bless the people of Lebanon.
Hopefully you can show more, to let us see this conflict, and devastation
Best wishes, Rob.

Hi Nason,
Thank you for sharing this sad photo. It's a good photography but It tells more than what it shows. Here what i first thought when i see your photo;
- These destructions were all to get those "2 kidnapped soldiers", weren't they? hmmm.. very convincing reason!!!! But wait a minute! those two soldiers might have been kept in this building!!!
- Hopefully, somebody can convince this lady too, about how easy she would get her "destroyed" future back! huh!
Thank you again for reminding us what's happening in Lebanon, Nason.
Best regards,
Aziz

Hi, Nason. I cry and I think about the feelings of many jews who dedicated their lives to peace and freedom and, now, see the nightmare they suffered during the second world war reproduced in Lebanon. What a shame! Good journalistic pic. Unfortunately, you've put a copyright written in it. TFS! Regards! Miguel.

WAR!
black death of the 21th century!
and now children, women, men are being killed by own brother!
I'm not pleased because of scene.

Hi Nason. Thank you for sharing this sad and mvoing image. I came out of Lebanon two days before Israel hit the international airport. I left behind a beautiful and lively country full of enthusiams.
Sad that those in the moral high horse with any power have decided to sit by and enjoy the destruction of a democratic country. US and UK have no longer any credibility when they talk about their seriousness of fighting terrorism.
VIVA LEBANON!!! The world shall never forget this.

for journalistic reasons this is a good photo,
but the the childish copyright print across it twice takes
away a great deal of the impact.
i hope you will show us some more nice journalistic photos
from Haifa, Kiryat Shmona, Acre, Kfar Giladi or the Bedouin village of Arab al-Aramshe
where a Hizbullah Katyuasha killed
3 arab-israeli women yesterday.
interesting how fast in these bad times one evolves from
a "amateur photographer" into a "Reporter in war countries".
shalom, peace, frieden!

Painful and dreadful picture ...
I cannot say more.
The world have to be aware of horrible things like this one. Unbelievable, it still happen ... human being will never learn !
We have responsabilities to show people what's happening but we still have to show beautiful lebanon as well because the world have to associate not only war to this wonderful land and people.

It's a very strong picture and reflects a very sad and hard reality. But In war, there are no winners you know. 2 million Israeli citizens (Jews, Arabians and Christians) sitting under the ground (in shelters) already one month, because fire on them around 150 missiles every day from Lebanon. And we didn't start all this you know. My state must remove ability of threat by defeating the launchers of the missiles that most of them situated within civil population of Lebanon (in houses, yards and public buildings). 6 years we are developing the tourist industry in the north of Israel. But in the other side, the Hezbollah had armed. Think about this… Orit from Israel.

It's too bad this gentleman never got the leaf-lets the Jews tried to pass out. It would be really devistating if that were a picture of the World Trade Towers in which thousands if innocent people perished.

"Dahieh, Beirut, Lebanon 3 August 2006. So far, there were nearly 900 Lebanese and 60 Israeli killed, thousands wounded, 1 million Lebanese have become refugees in their own country" - it's true and pity, but were is around 150 missiles every day from Lebanon to Israel? Were is 2 million Israeli citizens sitting under the ground already one month or refugee in their own country?

I travelled in both countries... I had been in the west banks and I heard comments from both sides...
Freedom... Peace...
As long as nobody wants to solve the dilemma seriously, there will be no peace...

Interesting & of course topical image. I don't like the copyright/watermark on the shot though, I'd prefer that to either be lower down at the bottom of the image or else put into a frame around it.
