i have similiar memories from djerba in tunesia, its always so interesting to learn about the traditional jobs of locals;
interesting image although i wish i could see more of the men's legs instead of uninteresting background;

Gercekten de cok guzel bir portre olmus, hem isik cok iyi, hem de kompozisyon. Adamin bakisi, yaptigi isin hemen anlasilmasi gibi hos olgular da var ayrica.
Ama asil onemli olan, bunlarin savastan once cekilmis olmasi, bu insanların aniden gunluk hayattan nasil kopmus olduklarini
düsünmek ürkütücü oluyor.

Sad to see what has happened to Lebanon. I was planning to go there in October, and to go to Tripoli - but, of course, I can't now. Glad you've showed us this shot. I like the posture and pose and the nautral way he is reacting to the side of him. The details are nice and crisp and the composition works well. Good shot.
