Photographer's Note
Sidon (ancient latin and arabic name) or Saïda (today's arabic name of the city) lies on the Mediteraneean coast since the dawn of time. Like Byblos and Tyre, Sidon is historically known from over 6000 years.
Rising from the sea, right in front of the port, stands the crusaders' castle. It was built in the early 13th century using the columns and stone blocks found in the ruins of the roman city.

Hi Adina
Great shot of the ruins above the calm waters across the frame. Good details, rich colors, textures, shades and the stonework is amazingly clear surrounded by fresh blue surroundings. An inevitably impressive image yet simple and kept it natural looking in lovely lighting. The sheen on the water reflection is gem. Subtle and very well taken. Congrats, TFS.
Warm regards

Lovely composition with all the blue envolving the warm colors of the old castle. I also like the soft curve created by the buikding.
Best regards
