Photographer's Note

Sidon (ancient latin and arabic name) or Sa´da (today's arabic name of the city) lies on the Mediteraneean coast since the dawn of time. Like Byblos and Tyre, Sidon is historically known from over 6000 years.
Rising from the sea, right in front of the port, stands the crusaders' castle. It was built in the early 13th century using the columns and stone blocks found in the ruins of the roman city.
