Photographer's Note

Baalbek, now known also for being Hizballah capital city, hosts the most important Roman site in Lebanon. The site is fascinating itself and well conserved but what is also really impressive is the landscape it is nestled in: the Beeka Valley. Groups of white houses with flat roofs, evergreen trees and rocks. It becomes not difficult at all to image how magnificent it was.
